Southampton’s Experienced Wedding & Event Band
With over 15 years of experience playing live together, The Moonrunners are a seasoned party band bringing high-energy performances to weddings, parties, and events across the UK.
Made up of Jack (lead vocals & guitar), Rob (drums), and Dan (bass), we’ve played everywhere from intimate pubs and packed festivals to corporate functions and destination weddings. Our setlist blends our indie-rock roots with a versatile mix of disco, pop, rock, country, and more — all tailored to suit your event.
Whether you’re planning a wedding in Hampshire or a private party anywhere in the UK, we’ll keep the dance floor buzzing all night long.

Have a special song you’d love to walk down the aisle to? We’d be honoured to perform it live for you. Our acoustic ceremony set features all three of us singing in harmony to create a unique and unforgettable moment. This add-on is available for an additional fee — just let us know your request when enquiring.
Set the mood during your drinks reception with a 1-hour live acoustic set. Featuring acoustic guitars, percussion, and three-part vocals, we’ll provide the perfect background soundtrack to keep the vibe relaxed and upbeat. This service is available as an optional extra — please mention it in your enquiry if you’re interested.
We’ll learn and perform your first dance live, completely free of charge. Just let us know the song and the arrangement you’d prefer, and we’ll take care of the rest — creating a truly personal and memorable moment for your big day.
We’ll bring the full party atmosphere with professional PA, lighting, and high-energy live music. Choose from 2 x 60-minute sets or 3 x 40-minute sets. DJ music is included at no extra cost — before, between, and after our sets. Simply send us a playlist of up to 30 songs and we’ll keep the dance floor buzzing all night long.
Want to expand the sound? While we specialise in indie rock, our network includes talented musicians across all genres. Whether you’re after a female vocalist, keyboard player, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or an extra guitarist, we can tailor your lineup to make your event even more unforgettable.

When looking at different bands for your event it’s understandable to be worried that they might not sound like they do on the videos and demos. With ‘The Moonrunners’ our videos were shot live in one take, so what you see and hear is exactly what you get on the day!
We feel that our clients should be safe in the knowledge that when we turn up to play, they needn’t worry that they won’t be as good as they are online. This is why we decided to shoot our videos live for an exact representation of what we can offer!
